GRATITUDE!!! I am Thankful for..........

Happy Tuesday.......
We so often need a special occasion to wish a happy this or a happy that.... but I feel that every day is a great day to wish a Happy!!!!!!!
It's a new day to seize the moment, to learn, to grow.... but, one of those greatest requirements to a happy day is a Thankful Heart.
As we start this new day, let's think about something for which we are thankful, and then think again, and again......there's so much...you'll be surprised....and then, as we finish this day in a few hours, let's take a moment to ponder on the gifts that we have been given, and realize how this day's grateful heart has brought us though this Tuesday, already longing for the gifts of tomorrow.
I am thankful this morning because I am able to live my dream and work in such a creative format each day. I am thankful for each of you that come to me to source your quilting and stitchng needs; you allow me to live my dream.

"CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT"
This week I want to have a little fun contest.... there's going to be a "STORM OF GRATITUDE". The contest will run from today til Saturday at 12 Midnight. You simply have to leave a comment on this post and share something for which you are truly thankful. On Sunday I'll use a random number generator select 3 numbers from the number of posts received.....as a symbol of thankfulness, each of those 3 numbers will receive a little thankful gift from me.

I am grateful for Bill and his expertise with my quilting. I would never have been able to carry without him and even though I am moving to Vancouver, i will still be using Bill.

I am thankful for the wonderful vacation my husband and I took to Florida during Easter and especially thankful to the family members who made our visit so enjoyable and memorable.

To name all that I'm Thankful for would take up this entire website!!!! Bill, I'm thankful for our friendship, even thoug we only met once, once was all it took to feel the friendship bloom. You have been there to help me expand my quilting experiences, been there when I needed a shoulder, and support me when I needed it. When I see your pictures of your Quilting travels I see the passion for this craft in your eyes, smiles and of course your words. May all your dreams come true. NOW give me a chance to save up some more quilty cash!!!!

I left for a business trip in the States on Wednesday. On Wednesday evening, I was told my mother died. But I will be eternally grateful for four friends who were at the conference who sat with me for an hour or so as I absorbed the information. And I continue to be grateful for all who helped me return the next day, and the continued support of all my wonderful friends. I am blessed with a wealth of love.

I am thankful for good health, a wonderful family and a husband I have been married to for a couple of months short of 50 years.

In the past 2 years 4 times we have been told my mother would not survive due to terrible and strange health issues that I had never heard of before! She is still with us - back to driving even! I am SO thankful! I was able to spend this past weekend with her again and just keep thinking how thankful I am for the medical professionals that have been able to save her life.

It's hard to choose just one 'thankful', I have so many.Living so close to nature with the freedom to enjoy it is something I never take for granted.

I'm very thankful to be blessed with so many loving and caring family members and friends, I went through some major health scares and as they say when your at your lowest point you find out who your true friends are. My love of quilting came from my friends telling me to use my spare time to go back to being creative with my hands, so quilting was born from that. Also thankful for the love of my dog (boxer) who has been by my side through all the ups and downs animals always have lots of love to give you when you need it the most!

I am so blessed to have a husband who treasures me, and three children who have grown up to be loving adults- not to mention the blessing of looking forward to grandbabies, starting this summer.
